Orion International would like to thank everyone involved with making the 2014 Patriot Challenge 5K a huge success. Due to your contributions and participation we were able to raise a total of $23,809 for our three partner charities! We truly appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you again next year! The Patriot Challenge 5K presented by Grifols was held on Saturday, September 20th, 2014, at Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary, NC, in support of Orion International's Veteran Low to High Challenge, to raise $100K for Veterans in 2014.

Proceeds directly benefit our partner Veterans Organizations - Operation Military Embrace, Children of Fallen Patriots, and Warrior Hike.

    **Please Note: Race shirts are only guaranteed to participants who register on or before Tuesday, September 9th. Any participants registering after September 9th will receive a shirt on a first come, first serve basis on race day.

Packet Pickup

  • Early Packet Pick-Up - Friday, September 19, 2014
    Registrants may pick up race packets prior to race day at Omega Sports in the Crossroads Shopping Center in Cary from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm Address: 314 Crossroads Blvd | Cary, NC 27518 (View on Google Maps)

    All others may collect packets at the registration table at Koka Booth on race day.

    6:30 am - 7:50 am - Visit our All American Color Booth! Add some strs and stripes to your arms, legs, face, or hair. - Dont forget the photo op!

    7:00 am - Check in and packet pick-up; Late Registration

    8:00 am - Chip Timed 5K Run and Walk - Led by members of Rolling Thunder

      Following The 5K Run/Walk:
    • Snacks and Beverages
    • Music and Awards - awards provided by Omega Sports
    • Raffle with over $1,000 in prizes! - Only $5 per raffle ticket!
    • USVC ArchAngels Rappel Team Demonstration
    • Pull-Up Challenge with local Marine Corps Recruiters

Following the Patriot Challenge 5K Run/Walk, the USVC ArchAngels Rappel Team will be performing a rappel demonstration from the Koka Booth Amphitheatre stage light towers. You won't want to miss this!

United States Veterans Corps (USVC)

USVC is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization based in Cary, North Carolina.

They are a Corps of military veterans, spouses, dependents and patriotic citizens performing "Hands On" community service with a mission/deployment attitude! Their Mission is to participate in community service projects & events in the military & civilian community.
